The building that houses the Golf de Fontanals, in the Catalan region of Cerdanya, is a unique project built using the inverted truss system with a clear objective of integration into the surrounding natural environment. The architectural project was conceived by the architect Enric Miralles and completed, after his death, by the architect Josep Miàs.
The promoter of the project was the entity that manages the golf course, Fontanals Sportiva S.A. The constructed area amounts to 1,945 m2, for which 110 m3 of wood have been used.
