Le Canopée is an eco-district of 50 terraced houses built entirely in structural radiata pine and exterior coverings in European larch by Egoin in Bayonne. An enormous ambitious project with a total built-up area of 4,280m².

Egoin tackled this project comprehensively including engineering, manufacturing and assembly service likewise a turnkey service for the exterior of the building which included: insulation, sheeting and adhesive tape to obtain French energy efficient housing certificates and Passivhaus. The project was completed by finishing the façades with larch battens and the construction of overhead footbridges connecting the houses. Le Canopee project was carried out in 12 months, promoted by Le Coll a public company linked to the French Housing Ministry and supervised by architect Patrick Arotcharen.
